This book is most useful because, among other things, proper rest helps children maintain a healthy attitude. Steppie Morris explains to young readers that there is nothing to fear at night so they can sleep peacefully. She also talks about the benefits of a good night’s sleep, and these are great ways to motivate little ones to go to bed at the right time. Children will learn that they can enjoy the next day with energy and joy.
I Hope Your Dreams are Sweet is a book created with love, and the way it describes such an important moment for children, such as going to bed, is charming. I liked the warm feelings that the book transmits with each word and in each image. I adored the drawings because they portray the effects of light and shadow very well, but retain colors, mainly using warm tones. Children will be happy when reading this book because of the positive and motivational messages that they will be able to see for themselves. Steppie Morris uses harmonious sentences and the love she wants to convey is tangible. With this book and a good night’s rest, children will have a more positive approach, while at the same time they will discover that learning is fun.
